How government brings conflict

Walter Williams is one of my all time favorite columnists.  There isn’t much I can add to this at all.  I simply encourage you to go and read it.

Beer or wine? How government brings conflict.

  1. Great piece by Williams.

    Thanks, Jeff.

It breaks my heart that so many people these days (especially young people) have no appreciation of the free market and think that the government is the be all and end all.

Parents; be keenly aware of the marxists in your local school system that are shaping your children’s thoughts.

  2. Steve,
This is yet another reason why we love homeschooling. We can teach our kids the right lessons without interference from the political agenda in the school system curriculum. Even though we live in a small town with pretty good schools, there is a lot of mandates and dictates that come down from on high to all public schools. And it may yet get worse.

  3. YOu are absolutely right, Jeff.

It will get much worse. Don’t be suprised when the Democrats move to make homeschooling illegal.

  4. I keep expecting them to make that move someday. I suppose I will be an outlaw then, because I don’t intend to stop homeschooling.

  5. Good for you, Jeff!
