We have been seeing God at work in our midst at FBC Langdon and it is only fitting that we remember one of the main duties of a disciple of Jesus Christ. We are called to be His witnesses and to tell our story. You can listen to the audio by clicking on the sermon “Tell Your Story” in the playlist at the right or by following this link. Notes are below (I have filled in the names in the areas that I mention were blank) or at the audio site as a PDF. May you be richly blessed through the Word and may you share that blessing by telling your story about Him.

At the risk of overloading those who have been waiting, I am going to try and post several more sermons each day this week. My plan is to be caught up to the current sermon by the end of this week (second week of June as I type this). This is a sermon on being a disciple and more specifically the call of Jesus to His early disciples and how it pertains to us. We had a wonderful service this morning. It is always good to be in the house of the Lord together with our family of God here in Langdon, but we had an especially great time this morning. The message this week is about knowing God’s will and “making the call” on matters where wisdom is needed. I pray that God will richly bless you through His Word.
And I just wanted to pass along a note for those who might be interested. More formal information will be soon forthcoming, but we are planning a 40th anniversary celebration for the church on the weekend of September 22-23, 2012. If you are subscribed to the posts here, you will get a notice as I promise to post updates here to the church’s site as we get them.
It has been a great week in the Lord here at FBC Langdon. We had a good time meeting together on Saturday to talk about the direction of our ministry as we move toward starting intentional small group discipleship in our church. Sunday was a lot of fun as well. One of our youth shared a song with us (which I unfortunately can’t put on here), but it was a blessing. The message is about our mission from God, to make disciples. I know we talk about it a lot, but that is only because it is the one main task that Jesus left for us to do. May you be richly blessed through God’s Word and may you grow as a disciple of Jesus.
We had a great time this week as we gathered to worship the King of Kings. The sermon this week is a little different sort of take on the story of Palm Sunday. We talked a lot about the donkey of the Messiah and about service to the King. I pray that you will be blessed through God’s Word as we encounter Jesus our Savior lowly and riding on a donkey.
We had a great day together in the Lord. The sermon this week is about our great mission as a church body. Essentially looking at the mission our Savior gave to each of us individually, but also corporately as a body of Christ. I pray that God will richly bless you through His Word.
Sorry I am late posting this sermon. I had a busy week last week and spent a couple of days on the road. We had a great service despite the snowy conditions outside. The sermon deals with the story of the demon possessed man in Mark 5. There are no notes available for this week. May you be richly blessed through the Word.
